Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy announces completion of repairs at Atyrau Refinery

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 1

Trend:

All installations at Kazakhstan’s Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP were brought to technological mode after the repair work on April 28, 2021, Trend reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.

The above work has been carried out after an increase in the volume of production of high-octane gasoline almost 2 times up to 4,000 tons/day, the ministry said.

In May 2021, it is planned to carry out capital repairs at PetroKazakhstan Oil Products (PKOP) LLP, the ministry noted.

“As of April 29 of this year, the total stock of petroleum products is at a comfortable level, in particular for gasoline 267,000 tons, and for diesel fuel – 335,300 tons, which indicates that there is no shortage and there is a sufficient amount of fuel and lubricants to cover the needs of the domestic market during repair work on PKOP LLP,” the ministry added.
