Divisions of Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern are currently conducting restoration work on 20 oil wells, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
Since the beginning of the year, 270 wells have been repaired and put back into operation by the divisions of Turkmennebit, which is 36 wells more than planned.
The restoration work is currently underway at another 20 wells.
From January through February 2021, 102 wells were repaired, of which 84 were put into operation.
In 2020, as a result of the commissioning of restored unproductive wells, Turkmennebit provided an increase in oil production in the amount of 300,000 tons.
