Sales of Iran's Nouri Petrochemical Company soar

The sales of Iran’s Nouri Petrochemical Company increased by about 4 times during the first three months of the current Iranian year (from May 21 through June 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.

According to the report, the Nouri Petrochemical Company sold products worth about 128 trillion rials (about $3 billion) in three months. While in the same period last Iranian year, the company's sales amounted to 32.5 trillion rials (about $774 million).

In addition, the Nouri Petrochemical Company sold products worth 38 trillion rials (about $905 million) in the 3rd month of the current Iranian (May 22 through June 21, 2021), which is an increase of about 231 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year. So, the company's sales amounted to 11.5 trillion rials (about $273 million) in the same month last Iranian year,” the report said.

“Of the company's total sales in the 3rd month, 21.5 trillion rials (about $512 million) was accounted for local sales and 16.5 trillion rials (about $392 million) – for exports,” the report said.

As reported, about 60 percent of Iran's Nouri Petrochemical Company’s products are exported and 40 percent sold at the Iranian Energy Exchange (IRENEX). The products are mainly exported to European countries, East and South Asian countries, the Indian subcontinent, and the countries around the Persian Gulf.

The company produces 1.2 million tons of p-Xylene, benzene, and p-Xylene and 3.3 million tons of heavy and light hydrocarbons, heavy aromatic, LPG, pentane, and light naphtha products annually.

Furthermore, the company’s plant consumes 4.77 million tons of fuel per year. Thus, 4.5 million tons of which is gas condensate and supplied from refineries of the South Pars Gas Company.
