Iran lays pipelines for its port in Gulf of Oman

The pipelines connecting to the floating systems Single Point Mooring (SPM) from Iran's Cask port in the coast of the Gulf of Oman have been laid, administrator of Jask oil terminal, Vahid Maleki said, Trend reports citing Pars Oil and Gas Company’s website.

Maleki noted that work has been completed on six 36-inch shore pulling pipelines.

“A total of 45-km length of shore pulling pipelines have been laid. All construction work, including, installation of pipelines and equipment, and so on in the Jask oil terminal will be completed and put into operation by the end of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022),” he added.

The official said that the terminal currently has a 48-inch onshore pipeline, a crude oil metering system, two 36-inch pipelines and one floating system (SPM) in operation.

It is planned to install 6 submarine pipelines, crude oil metering systems and 3 floating systems (SPM) at the Jask oil terminal in Iran. In the first stage, 1 metering system, two 36-inch pipelines and one floating system will be put into operation for the extraordinary operation of this terminal.
