Turkmenistan produced about 48.7 billion cubic meters of natural and associated gas from January through July 2021, which is 9 billion cubic meters more than in the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
In the reporting period, about 27 billion cubic meters of natural gas have been exported, which is 7.3 billion cubic meters more than from January through July 2020. Most of the exports were sent to China.
The plan for gasoline production has been exceeded by 19.4 percent in Turkmenistan in 1H2021.
During the reporting period the plan for production of country’s diesel fuel was exceeded by 0.8 percent, polypropylene – by 30.1 percent, liquefied gas – by 14.9 percent.
Also, the plan for the development of investments in the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan has been exceeded by 15 percent.
