Sberbank will cooperate with Kazakhstan on the issues of digital transformation of the country, Trend reports citing Kazakh media.
The corresponding memorandum of cooperation has been signed by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin and the CEO of Sberbank Herman Gref. The memorandum oversees the projects for the digital transformation of Kazakhstan, the transition to a platform model of digitalization and the concept of Data Driven Government.
The document was signed on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
Kazakhstan is actively taking measures to digitalize the country's economy. One of the most prominent steps in this regard is the approval of 'Digital Kazakhstan' strategy, which is currently being introduced in all spheres of the country's activities.
The major goals of the Program have accelerated economy growth of Kazakhstan and have upgraded the living standards, as well as have created conditions for transition on a fundamentally new pathway – future digital economy.
