Iran’s Pardis Petrochemical Company sees increase in production

The production of Iran’s Pardis Petrochemical Company in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) increased by 118 percent over the past year (September 22, 2020, through September 22, 2021), compared to the previous period, the CEO of Pardis Petrochemical Company Gholamreza Jamshidi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

The CEO stressed the company produced a total of 5.38 million tons of goods within the mentioned period.

Jamshidi also added that the company produced 2.09 million tons of ammonia over 1 year, which is an increase of 121 percent, compared to the previous period.

“In addition, Iran’s Pardis Petrochemical Company produced 3.29 million tons of urea during the reporting period, which is an increase of 117 percent, compared to the previous period,” he said.

Jamshidi noted that the company's sales for one year amounted to $857 million, which is 45.3 percent more than the company’s plan.

Reportedly, Iran's Pardis Petrochemical Company is located on 64.5 hectares of land in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) in Bushehr Province. The company has 3 plants and can produce about 5.5 million tons of ammonia and urea per year.
