Iran’s Lavan Oil Refining Company reveals products on sale at IRENEX

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 18

The Iranian Lavan Oil Refining Company has sold naphtha and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products on the international floor of Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), said the official IRENEX report obtained by Trend.

According to the IRENEX, the company has sold a total of 81,000 tons of products at the energy exchange in the first month. Of this volume, 77,000 tons were accounted for naphtha, while 4,000 tons for LPG.

The value of company's sales at the IRENEX amounted to 4.9 trillion rials (about $18.6 million).

A total of 36 trillion rials (about $133 million) worth of products were sold at the IRENEX in the first month.

The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.

The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 305,125 rials, and the price of $1 is 263,007 rials.

As reported, Iran's Lavan Oil Refining Company can process 55,000 barrels of crude oil daily. The company produces LPG, gasoline, mazut and other petroleum products.
