The sales of Iranian Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) amounted to 1.26 trillion rials (about $4.82 million) in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year (April 21 through May 21, 2021), said the official IRENEX report obtained by Trend.
According to the report, the Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company has sold 8,340 tons of products at the energy exchange within the mentioned period. Of which, 6,000 tons were sold on the international floor, while 2,340 tons were on the domestic floor of the IRENEX.
Within the second month, the Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company's Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), hexane, heavy distillate, industrial gas, liquefied gas products were sold at the energy exchange.
A total of 71.2 trillion rials (about $260 million) worth of products were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year.
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 296,819 rials, and the price of $1 is 262,258 rials.
Iran's Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company is located on 270 hectares of land in the Fars Province (southern Iran). The company can produce 1 million tons of ethane, 1.96 million tons of propane, 1.57 million tons of butane, 1.41 million tons of pentane plus, 30,000 thousand tons of raffinate C4 per year.
The company can also produce 411,000 tons of ethylene, 118,000 tons of polypropylene chemical grade, 64,000 tons of polypropylene polymer grade, 26,000 tons of butadiene, 180,000 tons of vinyl chloride, 440,000 tons of ethylene dichloride, 63,300 tons of hydrochloric acid, 6,600 tons of bleach, 150,000 tons of heavy polyethylene, 100,000 tons of light polyethylene, 4,000 tons of artificial rubber per year.
