Turkmenistan's crude oil supplies to Turkey down

Turkey has imported a total of 108,939 tons of crude oil in September 2021 from Turkmenistan, which accounted for 3.47 percent of total Turkey’s crude oil imports for the month, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

Thus, Turkey’s import of Turkmen crude oil increased by 94.5 percent compared to February 2021 (56,000 tons) and by 19 percent less compared to the volume imported in August 2020 (111,000 tons). Export was not carried out in January.

Turkey’s import of crude oil from Turkmenistan from January through September 2021 amounted to 558,205 tons.
