Iran's Shazand Oil Refining Company sold products 4.55 trillion rials (about $33.7 million) at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year (April 21 through May 21, 2021), said the official IRENEX report obtained by Trend.
According to the report, Shazand Oil Refining Company has sold a total of 42,050 tons of various products at the IRENEX within the mentioned period.
“So, the company has sold 30,000 tons of processed residue of distillation tower (ATR-140) product on the international floor, while 12,050 tons of CSO and hexane products on the domestic floor of the energy exchange,” the report said.
A total of 71.2 trillion rials (about $260 million) worth of products were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year.
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 304,777 rials, and the price of $1 is 269,840 rials.
The Shazand (Imam Khomeini) Oil Refining Company was launched in 1993 with the capacity to process 150,000 barrels of oil per day. The company currently processes more than 250,000 barrels of oil.
It also produces more than 17 million liters of gasoline and 12 million liters of diesel in accordance with the Euro 4 standard as well as 500 tons of propylene, 400 tons of granular sulfur and 2,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) per day.
