Iran's Energy Exchange announces products to be on sale on January 12

About 124,000 tons of hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iranian Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on January 12, Trend reports citing the IRENEX.

According to the IRENEX, Iranian Abadan Oil Refining Company’s propylene; Pars Petrochemical Company’s pentane plus; Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s solvent 402, butane gas; Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company’s coal; Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE); Tehran Oil Refining Company’s heavy naphtha products will be on sale on the domestic floor.

“Also, MTBE product of the Iranian Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company; Raffinate of Bistoon Petrochemical Company; MTBE of Shimibaft Petrochemical Company; light naphtha of Shiraz Oil Refining Company; naphtha products of Persian Gulf Star Oil Company will be sold on the international floor,” the IRENEX said.

Certain products on IRENEX may become available for sale at a later stage, but they are not listed in the initial release.

According to the IRENEX, on Jan. 11, Iranian Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company’s MTBE, heavy distillate, liquefied gas; Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company’s heavy distillate; Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company’s reformate; Coal Tar Refining Company’s tar; Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s heavy distillate; Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s solvent 402 products were sold on the domestic floor.

“As well as, methanol of Fannavaran Petrochemical Company was sold on the international floor,” the IRENEX said.

A total of 2,670 tons of goods worth more than 334 biillion rials (about $1.28 million according to the SANA system) were sold on Jan. 11.
