BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. The wastewater treatment equipment at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery is scheduled to be put into operation in the second half of 2022, Deputy Managing Director of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Revamp Project Emil Alkhasli told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, the corresponding 10 km-long pipelines have already been built in the Baku water area of the Caspian Sea.
He also outlined the equipment's capability of purifying water by 80-100 percent.
"Testing and preparatory work are underway for launch. The equipment capacity constitutes 750 cubic meters per hour," Alkhasli said.
