BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. Iran’s Lordegan Petrochemical Company increased its production by 540 percent, in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year (April 21 through May 21, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports citing company’s website.
According to the report, the company produced a total of 71,100 tons of products for the reporting month.
Within the second month, the Lordegan Petrochemical Company used 75 percent of its production capacity.
In addition, the company's sales for the second month exceeded 140,000 tons.
The Lordegan Petrochemical Company was officially launched on November 26, 2020. A total of 756 million euro and 11.2 trillion rials (about $267 million) was spent on the construction of the company's plants. The company can produce 670,000 tons of ammonia and 1.08 million tons of urea a year.
