BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 23. Iran's daily gas condensate exports increased to 230,000-240,000 barrels for the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.

Whereas, when the current government came to power in Iran (August 2021), the country's gas condensate exports amounted to 7,000 barrels per day, the minister said.

Owji added that Iran exported and refined domestically 47 million barrels out of 87 million barrels of crude oil stored in oil tankers during August 3, 2021 through August 23, 2022.

According to him, Iran is currently carrying out 80 percent of its crude oil exports in cash and under foreign currencies. Iran receives money from oil exports in full," he said.

Owji emphasized that Iran uses different ways to export crude oil. One of these ways is Iran selling its crude oil and gas condensate by using the potential of oil and gas refineries abroad.

The minister also pointed out that Iran has found customers in Latin America, Asia and even Europe to sell its crude oil and gas condensate. Also, bartering of oil with essential products is one of the ways to sell Iran's crude oil.
