BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 29. Iran’s South Pars Gas Company (SPGC) produced 184 billion cubic meters of natural gas and transmitted it into the country's gas network, during the 11-month term of the current Iranian government (August 23, 2021 through July 22, 2022), Executive Director of the SPGC, Ahmad Bahush said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to Bahush, the company also produced 31 million tons of ethane gas and supplied it to petrochemical plants within the mentioned period.
“In addition, over 251 million barrels of gas condensate were produced in the company during 11 months,” he added.
The director noted that the company produced 4.73 million tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as well as 20.5 million cubic meters of sour gas in the mentioned 11 months. Of this, 35 percent was produced during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2022).
