ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 12. Turkmenistan sold oil products worth over $138.59 million to foreign businessmen through its State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange in September, Trend reports.
Within the framework of oil products, aviation kerosene, hydrotreated diesel fuel, technical kerosene, low-sulfur fuel oil, and liquefied gas were mainly sold.
Furthermore, in September, there was a significant increase in sales of petrochemical products on the stock exchange, exceeding 20 percent compared to previous months.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
