The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) started drilling of new well on the Puga field, the SOCAR told Trend. The project depth of well 1795 comprises 1,500 meters. A total of 443 have been drilled by the Gobustan Exploring-Frilling Unit of SOCAR. The work is planned to be completed in early 2006. 5 tons oil is expected to be produced from the well per day.
