Barmek Azerbaijan, the operator of the energy distribution networks of Baku and Sumgayit, started measures against debtors for supplied energy in northeastern regions from Thursday, the PR of the company told Trend.
Subscribers are notified of the forthcoming measures. “40,000 residents of the Khachmaz regional are indebted to the regional branch of the company in the mount of 8bn manats. The employees of Barmek Azerbaijan cut off energy supply depend on the amount of debt,” he added.
The collection of energy payment is expected to rise by 15-20%.
