The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and Azal Oil company agreed upon delivery of aviation kerosene of TS-1 brand in 2006 for needs of aviation. The SOCAR told Trend that in 2006 it will supply to Azal Oil some 450,000 tons of aviation kerosene at $305 per ton.
In 2005 the SOCAR supplied to Azal Oil kerosene at the price of $215-230 per ton amid world oil prices of some $500 per ton.
In 2005 the SOCAR sold through tender 50,000 tons of avia kerosene of TS-1 brand to the British Petrogas for export. The product was shipped at FOB basis in the Georgian Black sea port of Batumi in two tankers. Thus far, the SOCAR sold kerosene to Swiss trader Glencore.
