The discharge from the platform, installed on the Central Azeri field, comprises 255,000 barrels per day, BP Azerbaijan, the operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli project, told Trend. At present 10 operating wells function on the platform, one is envisaged for gas pumping, other - cuttings pumping.
The company noted that around 35,000 barrels per day was produced from the platform in the western part of the field. At present one well functions here. The second one will be commissioned soon that will lead to production growth.
In 2006 the production from the ACG field is expected at 458,000 barrels per day. From total production 19,000 barrels will fall to the Shahdeniz field, 138,000 barrels - Chirag, 75,000 barrels - Western Azeri.
