New oil reserves were revealed at drilling of wells in the northern part of the shallow water Guneshli, but borders had not been determined yet. Azneft Production Association (PA) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) order to geophysicists to conduct 3D survey in the field, Trend reports quoting Khoshbakht Yusifzade, the First Vice-President of SOCAR.
Geophysicists hold preparations for the survey. The work will star after completion of preparations. 3D seismic survey will be conducted in this field for the first time.
