During January-April 2006 Gazexport of Russia (Gazproms subsidiary) delivered nearly 1.693bn cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijan, Trend reports with reference to SOCAR, which shows a 79mln cubic meter decrease year-over-year.
In April 2006 the company delivered 357.2mln cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijan, down 137mln year-over-year.
This year SOCAR plans to purchase nearly 4.5bn cubic meters of gas at $110 per thousand cubic meters. The gas is transferred to the country via Shirvanovka-Kazimagomed pipeline.
