By 2010, KazMunayGaz AO is going to construct a 950km long pipeline from Iskene (Atyrau area) to port Kuryk with the oil terminal. Trend reports quoting Jaksibek Kulekeev, first vice-president for finances, KazMunayGaz, the oil produced at Kashagan field, at first stage 5mt, and further up to 36mt, will be transported to Kuryk, then through Caspian Sea to Baku and via BTC pipeline to global markets.
He said, the Aktau-Baku offshore pipeline construction is examined only upon definition of Caspian Sea status. В"Suggesting the issue is resolved, it will not be difficult to install a pipeline. It will make some year or twoВ", - he pointed.
