Azenerji, KfW talk on credit for AzHPP-Imishli power line construction

Delegation of German bank KfW consisting of head of energy and ecology sector Klaudia Loi and senior manager for energy projects Peter Brinkmann discussed financial aspects of installation of high voltage line AzHPP-Imishli with executives of Azenerji AO, Trend reports with reference to AOs press service.

German bank intends to finance this project. The parties already adjusted and approved technical issues of the project. Two variants are introduced in respect to financing, differing in interest rates and risks.

The project covers installation of 195km long power lines from Azerbaijan Heat Power Plant (AzHPP) to Imishli station to reconstruct as well. It is also planned to build a new station in Geranboy. German bank is issuing a E 30m semicommerical credit under this project.
