Azerbaijan industry development program is drawn with anticipation of two main directions. First part of the program is to divide the republic by industrial-economic zones, Trend reports quoting Natik Aliyev, Minister of Industry and Economy. Based on crude materials and resources deposited in these areas, it is suggested to define the most profitable spheres of industry for these areas, Minister said.
The second aspect of the program is development of traditional industry. In particular, it concerns metallurgy, petrochemical and light industry. They will be prepared stage-bystage and submitted to Azeri President for approval.
