Despite the complicated system of mode switching, gas and black oil principle is attractive in a view of presence of two supply sources, reportedly said Marlen Askerov, vice-president, Azerenerji AO. Azerenerji is going to build a module power plant in Sangachal to supply Baku and its outskirts.
Wartsila-made power plant is planned to be erected within this project. The entire project includes installation of 20 modules, each 17.5MW in rated output. Common rated output of the plant makes 340-350 MW.
At the moment said Finnish company is already erecting five 90MW module plants in Azerbaijan. One of them is already completed in Astara, two more are being installed in Khachmaz and Sheki, two will be erected in Nakhchivan and Baku.
