The Operating Company Salyan Oil has begun drilling the next, fifth exploitation well in the Kursangi-Garabagli onshore field, Trend reports quoting the Company.
The drilling of the well with the project depth of 3,500 meters will be complete in January-February 2007.
The Company faced many technical difficulties during its activities.
The Operating Committee of Salyan Oil adopted the budget of 2007 operations in the amount of $43mln. Next year it is planned to drill 5 production wells each with the project depth of 3,500 meters.
