According to the data of the Central Dispatcher Department of Azerenergi JSC, the Country generates 80mln. KWatt/hour on average in December. That figure is on 6% more versus the corresponding period of the last year, a source in the Press-Service of Azerenerji told Trend.
Azerbaijan plans to generate 85 mln. KWatt/hour of electric power on December 31, 2006 in order to fully provide the consumers with electric power. All electric power stations and transmission lines will work in medium security regime.
As the source in Azereneji said, the distribution of electric energy in the capital and the regions would be fulfilled in unlimited regime. No limit in supplying electric power is expected to be from Azerenerji.
The Country will keep on receiving electric power from abroad as well.
During last year holidays, the electric power consumption reached 81 mln. KWatt/hour versus 78 mln. KWatt/hour in workdays.
