State Statistics Committee officials informed Trend in 2006 approximately 4.2 mln tons of oil products have been sold in the internal market of Azerbaijan.
722,200 tons of the total volume of oil products fell on gasoline, which is up 18.4% on the previous year.
Wholesale price of Рђ-92 gasoline in the internal market (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 432.30 and Рђ-96 is AZN 484.70.
Wholesale price of 1 ton of diesel fuel is 397.46 AZN (VAT inclusive).
In 2006 Azpetrol reportedly acquired 282,900 tons of gasoline for sale, LUKoil, 92,120 tons and Caspian Shipping Company, 26,110 tons. The latter also purchased 67,970 tons of engine fuel and s well as 1,840 tons of lubricants.
The greatest deals fell to fuel oil. In 2006 a total of 1965,200 tons of fuel oil were sold, which is 2.8% less than 2005. Wholesale price of 1 ton of fuel oil Рњ-40 is AZN 77.88 (VAT inclusive).
During the 12 months of last year, Azerenerji JSC received 1,261,600 tons of fuel oil and the oil refinery named after H. Aliyev, 595,450 tons.
Aviation kerosene sold in the market totalled to 519,700 tons, down 12.1% over the year.
Wholesale price of 1 ton of this fuel (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) was AZN 411.68.
SC AZAL reportedly received 480,700 tons of this fuel in the period and other enterprises acquired 38,970 tons.
Sale of petroleum bitumen totalled 143,400 tons, up 48.1% from 2005. Wholesale price of 1 ton of bitumen BN 60/90 (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) was AZN 108.90.
Last year the Transport Ministry acquired 58,790 tons of this product.
