The Chief of the Unit Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of the Production Unit Azneft of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Mubariz Madatov, said that the Unit intends to repair 35 vessels, Trend reports. In 2006 the Unit repaired 96 vessels. The Unit Caspian Sea Oil Fleet transported 565,423 tons of cargo in 2006, an increase of 41,4% from the forecasts. The key part of the transported cargo falls to diesel fuel, drinking water, metalware, cement, chemical reagents and other cargos. Presently the balance of the Unit has 256 vessels, four light vessels and three floating barges.
