SOCAR Eager to Implement Diesel Fuel Deliveries for BP in Georgia

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyeva / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) intends to carry out diesel fuel deliveries for BP in Georgia. Diesel fuel will be supplied for a terminal in Supsa, pump stations near the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline and service to automobile of the company in that country.

At the present time the deliveries are carried out by Russian oil company LUKoil. "SOCAR is eager to carry out part of these projects m" SOCAR said. It is planned to hold talks on this issue with the representative of BP in Georgia. The meeting will also mull the restoration of oil pumping via the Baku-Supsa pipeline, which was ceased last year due to technical faults.
