In January 2019, payments by 10 leading insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 15.83 million manats (92.28 percent of the total insurance payments).
The results of the activity of insurance companies in January 2019 have been announced by the Azerbaijan Financial Market Supervisory Authority.

The ranking is headed by Pasha Life, which accounted for 33.73 percent of the reimbursements paid by all companies during the period. In January 2019, this company made payments of 5.79 million manats.
The second position in the ranking was taken by Ateshgah with total payments of 1.8 million manats (10.5 percent of all payments), and the third position was taken by Ateshgah Life with total payments amounting to 1.79 million manats (10.42 percent of all payments).
In January 2019, Azerbaijani insurance companies collected premiums in the amount of 88.19 million manats (an increase of 6.57 percent over a year), payments in the same period amounted to 17.16 million manats (a decrease of 25.38 percent over a year).
