Azer Aliyev has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau of Azerbaijan (ISB), Trend reports referring to the bureau.
He replaced Lana Gozalova, first deputy chairman of the AXA Mbask insurance company, in this position.
Aliyev is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ateshgah Insurance and is the head of Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA).
Ulviya Jabbarova, Board Chairman at PASHA Insurance, was appointed as Aliyev’s deputy at the ISB Board of Trustees. She is a former member of the board.
The board also includes Firdovsi Aghashirinov and Mammad Hasanli, both representatives of the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA), and Matanat Narimanli, member of the board of Xalq Insurance.
Rashad Ahmadov is the executive director of ISB.
