Azerbaijani insurance company increases assets

In the first half of 2019, assets of the Azerbaijani insurance company Ipеk Yolu reached 39 million manats, which is 9.076 million manats more than at the beginning of the year, Trend reports with reference to the balance sheet of the company.

Some 95 percent of the company’s assets accounted for short-term assets, which, having increased by nine million manats in six months, amounted to 37.2 million manats. The main share in the structure of short-term assets accounted for accounts receivable, the volume of which, having increased by 25 percent during the reporting period, amounted to 12.6 million manats.

The long-term assets of the company for the reporting period remained almost unchanged, amounting to 1.8 million manats. Most of the long-term assets accounted for land plots, buildings and equipment – 170,575 manats.

During the reporting period, Ipеk Yolu’s liabilities amounted to 15.6 million manats, having increased twice compared to the beginning of the year. Most of the liabilities were long-term liabilities, the volume of which amounted to 15.5 million manats. Short-term liabilities of the company for the first half of the year amounted to 104,600 manats.
