Assets of Azerbaijani insurance company increase

The total assets of the Azerbaijani insurance company Amrah Insurance for the first half of 2019 amounted to almost 6.642 million manats, which is 11 percent more than in the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the company’s financial report.

In the structure of assets, long-term assets decreased by 14.2 percent and amounted to 17,020 manats.

The volume of short-term assets for the year increased by 11.8 percent, reaching almost 6.625 million manats, including short-term financial assets worth 3.826 million manats, cash and cash equivalents - 2.345 million manats. Accounts receivable increased by 24.6 percent, amounting to 431,000 manats.

During the reporting period, the charter capital of the company remained unchanged and amounted to 5 million manats. Total capital increased by 6.14 percent to almost 5.581 million manats.

The total liabilities for the reporting period increased by 46.2 percent and amounted to 1.061 million manats. Most part of the liabilities accounted for long-term liabilities worth 1.055 million manats, decreasing by 2.8 percent. Short-term liabilities of the company for the first half of the year amounted to 5,690 manats.
