Long-term assets of Azerbaijan’s MCB Leasing down by 25%

The total assets in the balance sheet of the Azerbaijani MCB Leasing company for 2018 amounted to 8.236 million manats, Trend reports referring to the company’s financial report.

The company’s assets decreased by 15.9 percent compared to the previous year.

More than half of the total assets (59 percent) was comprised of short-term assets. Their amount amounted to 4.842 million manats, having decreased by 8 percent year on year.

In the structure of short-term assets, net investments in financial leasing amounted to 3,597, denoting a decrease of 4.6 percent. The volume of cash and cash equivalents amounted to 1.084 million manats, having decreased by 18.7 percent, while their share amounted to about 22 percent of total short-term assets.

Advances, prepayments and other short-term assets amounted to 161,300 manats, showing an increase by almost 2 percent.

Long-term assets decreased by a quarter and amounted to 3.394 million manats. A significant part of long-term assets (89 percent) accounted for net investment in financial leasing in the amount of 3.035 million manats. Estimated tax assets amounted to 304,500 manats. The company's land, real estate and equipment amounted to 54,200 manats.
