By the end of 2019, the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) will present a new project to support the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the country, as well as a new card developed jointly with one of the bank's partners, the bank's Board Chairman Abbas Ibrahimov told Trend.
Ibrahimov said that in recent months, together with the international payment system VISA, for the first time in Azerbaijan, IBA applied NFC technology, and also opened IBA Tech Academy for the first time to train IT specialists.
The chairman noted that over a hundred students study for free in this academy.
"We also have introduced the new multifunctional product 'Tamkart', combining two types of cards. All these innovations are welcomed by our customers and society as a whole. These steps are aimed at realizing the goals that the bank's new development strategy sets before us, and they will certainly continue," Ibrahimov said.
