As a result of the joint efforts of Bank of Georgia and Geo Style Ltd., a lead processing plant will be opened in the village of Gamarjveba of Gardabani munisipality in Kvemo Kartli Region of Georgia, Trend reports referring to Georgian media.
The project will be of unprecedented importance, as there is no similar enterprise in Georgia, the report said.
The company will produce lead by recycling batteries. Geo Style Ltd plans to export its products.
As reported, the company will not stop the project implementation in the context of a pandemic.
Bank of Georgia Group PLC is a UK incorporated holding company which, through its subsidiaries, provides retail banking and payment services, and carries out corporate investment banking and wealth management operations in Georgia, as well as banking operations in Belarus.
