Onr of the most important issues for the Iranian government is to fight corruption and create transparency, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said, Trend reports via IRNA.
"Cyber space is good place for providing data and services to the public and the businesses as well," Rouhani said.
He said the government can provide certain services online, through the electronic government," he said. "The aim for the electronic government is to grow in all the sectors."
"In terms of fighting corruption, the government has submitted four bills related to Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to the parliament, and two of the related bills are yet to be approved, and the Supreme Leader's recent order about reviewing of the bills was helpful in the fight against corruption," he said.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has previously ordered the re-evaluation of FATF-related bills by the Expediency Council of Iran. The Paris-based Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has blacklisted Iran in February 2020, due to Tehran failure to comply with the related bills.
