Azerbaijan’s Xalq Bank ended 2020 with net profit worth 25.8 million manat ($15.2 million), which is by 22.9 percent less than in 2019, Trend reports citing the bank's financial report.
During the reporting period, the liabilities of Xalq Bank decreased by six percent to 1.9 billion manat ($1.1 billion), the deposit portfolio decreased by 7.3 percent to 1.6 billion manat ($941 million).
The balance capital increased by 4.1 percent to 436.8 million manat ($256.9 million).
Xalq Bank has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2004.
