Money supply in Azerbaijan increases - CBA

The Money Supply Rate (М2) in Azerbaijan made up nearly 19.49 billion manat ($11.46 billion) in January 2021, which is 8.6 percent more compared to Jan.2020, Trend reports referring to the statistical bulletin of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to the bank, the amount of Cash Money Supply (M0) increased by 11.5 percent up to 10.33 billion manat ($6.07 billion), Broad Money Supply (M3) dropped by 1.5 percent to 28.11 billion manat ($16.53 billion), and Transaction money (M1) grew by 12.2 percent, up to 16.94 billion manat ($9.96 billion).

M3 = M2 + savings deposits, state bonds.
