The activity of 58 enterprises was restored in the industrial parks of the Hamadan Province (western Iran) in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), the Head of the Industrial Parks Organization of Iran's Hamadan Province Mohammad Reza Badami said, Trend reports citing the IRNA.
According to Badami, in total, the activity of 265 enterprises has been restored in the province so far.
“In addition, the collateral of 51 enterprises was sold by banks to other individuals last Iranian year. Also, the activity of 15 enterprises owned by banks was restored,” he added.
The chairman noted that 1.2 trillion rials (about $28.5 million) was spent on developing infrastructure in Hamadan Province's industrial parks last year.
According to Badami, there are 31 industrial parks in Iran's Hamadan Province, with a total area of 2,910 hectares and provided with certain infrastructures.
The chairman stressed as many as 1,160 enterprises operate in industrial parks of Iran's Hamadan Province. About 109 of them were put into operation in the last year. A total of 17.6 trillion rials (about $419 million) worth of investments were made in these industrial parks is. Of this, 2.15 trillion rials (about $ 51.2 million) was invested last year.
“In general, 18,100 people work in industrial parks, and about 1,700 people were employed last year,” he said.
