Azerbaijan's budget revenues from privatization of state property increase

The revenues to the Azerbaijani budget from the privatization of state property by the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy amounted to 32.3 million manat ($19 million), which is by 31.7 million manat $18.6 million (56.3 times) more than in the same period of 2020, Trend reports on July 22 with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance.

According to the ministry, the forecast was fulfilled by the State Service by 135.2 percent, including 7.3 million manat ($4.3 million) in the form of the rental fee for renting state property, which is by 2.7 million manat ($1.6 million) or 1.6 times more compared to the same period of 2020.

Some 276.4 million manat ($162.6 million) was received from paid services of organizations that are financed from the state budget, which is by 3.8 percent or 10 million manat ($5.9 million) more than in the same period of 2020.

Thus, some 154.4 million manat ($90.8 million) in the form of other revenues was transferred to the budget, which exceeds the projected level by 4.7 times, or 121.4 million manat ($71.2 million), and the figure for the same period of 2020 – by three times or 102.8 million manat ($60.5 million).

Some 240 million manat ($141.2 million) were transferred to the country's budget from the fund ensuring obligations on public debt and guarantees during the reporting period.
