The inflation rate in Iran increased by 43.2 percent in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 23 through August 22, 2021), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Statistical Center of Iran.
The statistics show that families spent an average of 43.2 percent more on some products and services compared to the same month of the last Iranian year.
The inflation on food, soft drinks, and tobacco products in Iran was 58.4 percent in the 5th month, while in the non-food and services sector was 36.1 percent, according to the statistics.
