The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) dropped 3,780 points to 1.538 million, on September 5, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Over 10.7 shares valued at $2 billion changed hands at TSE for the day.
The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) decreased by 0.53 percent and the Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) gained 0.1 percent.
MAPNA had the most positive impact on TSE, meanwhile the indices of SHASTA, Mobarakeh Steel Co., National copper Industrial Co., Parsial Oil and Gas Development Co., Isfahan Oil Refinery and Pars Petrochemical Co. had the most negative impact.
The overall index of the Farabourse dropped 48 points to 22,693.
