Azerbaijani NBCO eyes boosting car loan portfolio

The Azerbaijani non-bank credit organization (NBCO) City Finance is aimed to double its portfolio of car loans, Tural Ahmadov, the NBCO’s director, told Trend.

According to Ahmadov, in 2021, this indicator amounted to 7 million manat ($4.1 million).

He also noted that the NBCO's total loan portfolio grew from 8 million (recorded in 2020) to 18 million manat last year (by 125 percent).

"Another aim of City Finance for 2022 is to maintain the growth rate of the loan portfolio," the director said.

Besides, according to him, the company established an innovative sales marketing team - Otomall, a part of the AGA Group.

"Currently, work is underway on the promotion of the Otomall.az website and other products, including the company’s profiles in social networks," Ahmadov further said.

At present, the main priority of the NBCO for 2022 and subsequent years is the transition to neo-banking services, and the creation of more innovative products. This year, City Finance plans to increase the number of branches, as well as expand relationships with partners, he added.

The main priority of NBCO City Finance is to provide financial support to the development of micro, small and medium-sized businesses.
