BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. The value of Kazakhstan’s monetary base amounted to 10.6 trillion tenge ($22.3 billion) in June 2022, which is 8.2 percent more than as in May 2022 and is 2.5 percent less than in December 2021, Trend reports with reference to the data of Kazakhstan’s National Bank.
"The narrow reserve money equaled 7.09 trillion tenge ($14.8 billion), which is 0.8 percent more than last month and 2.2 percent more than in December 2021," the report said.
"In turn, the value of the currency in circulation stood at 3.2 trillion tenge ($6.8 billion), which is 6 percent more than last month and 8.8 percent more than in December 2021," the statement said.
M1 money aggregate increased by 1.2 percent since the beginning of the year and amounted to 8.8 trillion tenge ($18.6 billion), whereas M2 money aggregate increased by 1.7 percent and equaled 24.1 trillion tenge ($50.5 billion).
"The broad money value amounted to 30.4 trillion tenge ($63.6 billion), which is up by 7.4 percent compared to last month and by 1.1 percent compared to December 2021," the report said.
