BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. Azerbaijan’s Kapital Bank ranked first among local banks in terms of volume of interest expenses for the second quarter of 2022, Trend reports.
According to Kapital Bank’s financial statement, the volume of its interest expenses for the reporting period amounted to 40.16 million manat ($23.62 million).
The second position accounted for the International Bank of Azerbaijan with interest expenses volume of 35.6 million manat ($20.9 million).
Access Bank ranked third with interest expenses volume in the amount of over 26.8 million manat ($15.7 million).
The total volume of the first three banks’ interest expenses in 2Q2022 amounted to 102.69 million manat ($60.4 million).
