BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 25. Iranian banks issued loans worth 12 quadrillion rials (about $288 billion) in the services sector, during the first 11 months of the previous Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

Of that, about 1.86 quadrillion rials (about $44.3 billion) was issued for the establishment of enterprises and facilities in the services sector for 11 months.

Also, Iranian banks issued loans worth 9.11 quadrillion rials (about $217 billion) as working capital in the services sector within the mentioned period.

At the same time, Iranian banks issued loans worth 730 trillion rials (about $17.3 billion) for the development of enterprises and approximately 137 trillion rials ($3.26 billion) for self-employment in the services sector in eleven months.

Moreover, 64 trillion rials (about $1.52 billion) worth of loans were issued for the purchase of housing, 108 trillion rials (about $2.6 billion) for repair work, and about 146 trillion rials (about $3.5 billion) for the purchase of personal assets in the services sector.

Overall, the Iranian banks issued loans worth approximately 36.7 quadrillion rials (about $874 billion) in various economic sectors in the country during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year.
